I think they could get away with making it the first "perma-mega" in a sense, as Fug requires no stone maybe the mascot line could have something similar. I also see this thing as being part Dark given the Oni like influence, but that might also just be fan art interpretation. Sawk/Throh also originally had a more Oni take, so Electric/Fighting may also had been a possibility.
