Gen 7 and 8 don't need """"""dungeons"""""" because they actually made each area have content instead of just being meaningless fluff like 90% of the routes in Unova and Kalos.

At least they tried with Alola and took some of the things that worked into Galar. And guess what? They did all of that without "muh dunjuns"
