>>22683705I lost any sense of hype for a new region back with Diamond and Pearl, and it got even worse when they did not fix the things they were in dire need in HeartGold and SoulSilver, and instead chose to added new content only to be yanked away again like the previous generations. I think the things Generation 6 brought to the table interest me and will genuinely feel lost when I lose them, unlike some of the things from previous generations that felt tacked on.
For the Pokemon argument, I guess I choose quality over quanitity, seeing how the previous generation added a crap ton of new mons that bring really nothing, as opposed to each new Generation 6 family having at least one set that it can run effectively.
Finally, I think Masuda was right about making the games too hard and them worried people would stop playing if it got too difficult. Seeing the inject players using hacked mons to clear the Maison leaves me concerned. I'm not really bothered by those who make Pokemon as legit as they can to use online, injecting and hacking have happened for years now in the competitive community and I've just learned to accept it.
