>>43372046If a Pixelate Sylveon had access to Hyperbeam, Hyper Beam goes from 150 to 180, when applied with STAB, this goes to 270. With Choice Specs, this increases to 405. At the end of it all, if you combine it with a full stack of boosts and IV's/EV's, you are putting out about 1400~1800 of Damage, with a Crit, you are putting out around 2200-2600 points of Damage.
Let's say you were going against a Heatran, who has 4x resistance to Fairy moves, a Pixelate Hyper Beam (Crit) would OHKO it, even if it was designed specifically to be SpD tank.
Now Sylveon doesn't have access to Hyper Beam, however it does have access to Boomburst, which is only 10 points lower than Hyper Beam, and doesn't need to be recharged every turn. A Fairy nuke very much so, if designed and built to be as such.
However, Sylveon also has a wide array of Utility use as well, You could easily set up a Wish/Protect/Calm Mind/Boomburst Sylveon with Pixelate with high SpA and SpD builds, with whatever item you want and you'll pretty much be brapping on any special attacker, or specially weak defenders.
The big crutch however is that it is relatively slow, and physically frail. An Iron Head from a Escavalier will pretty much OHKO, if not 2HKO.
But that's why you have 5 other Pokemon, and why tactics exist.
Long story short, if you are looking for a Versatile Nuke, Sylveon certainly fits the bill.
