>>22293158>>22293160You know, if I was looking for games that provided me a challenge or a greatly written story, I would just look somewhere else because I'm not stuck on Nintendo consoles only. I have a gaming PC as well and I actually tend to play Steam games the majority of the time, but I still feel compelled to buy every new Pokemon game because no other game manages to create that combination of relaxation that I feel every time I turn on my 3DS and just lay down in my couch or bed playing while at the same time having an engaging fictional world. If I'm looking for a game that gets my adrenaline pumping, I'll just go to my PC and start a multiplayer game. How hard is that?
The game pretty much demands nothing out of me since it is a game that isn't supposed to be hard in the first place, especially not for an adult, and that in itself works because they do it right. The story is not gonna win any awards, but it can still be engaging as well if you just manage to put up with the occasional bullshit.
Are you people telling me that you come to Pokemon for a tear-jerking story or something of the like, or perhaps make me break a sweat every time I start up a Gym Battle because of how hard it will be? Because if so, I think I am not the one with the problem of not playing any other games if I need my fix of that kind of stuff from Pokemon of all fucking games. Without mentioning those people that say the multiplayer matters more (are there really people who say this about Pokemon? I think they are far worse off than anyone here). Play a fucking simulator then.
Also, at this point, mentioning CoD in an argument has become the new Godwin's Law. It is fucking retarded to bring it up and think you have a point comparing the fanbase of CoD and saying "Well, this game's fanbase does this minor thing just like CoD's fanbase does, that means this is bad!" so stop this shit.
