>>43928692Kinda surprises me the Max hate continues to this day when he hasn't been part of the anime for like 15 years now. I mean I'm not a fan of him either, but he had his moments. Also I don't think the Hoenn cast would have worked with just Ash/May/Brock, would have seemed like an uneven trio and May would have come across as a much more blatant Misty replacement if she just came alone.
