Sun was the last game I played. It wasn't that good, especially because I played so many other better games that year. I think most people who like pokemon games don't know of anything better. I have a friend who's a pokemon fan and only other games he plays are by Bethesda.
I don't really know anything about the cartoon nowadays. I like to watch the first season in my native dub because of the obvious nostalgia I feel towards it. I also like to hunt the older cards from flea markets and such (sometimes I order online admittedly...)
I don't really think of pokemon that much, especially not the games. But it's been with me almost as long as I can remember so it's feels almost like a natural small part of life
