The real Gustav VI was refered to as "the most professional amateur professor" due his contributions to the fields of history, botany and archaeology, having engaging in excavation and exploration in sites all over the world, as well founding archaeology institutes in different places. He was also very private and humble, asking people not to refer to him as a King (just Mr. Bernadotte), being more interested in the academic life than a political one.
