Did you know that the west was suppose to receive WaterBlue instead of LeafGreen? Unfortunately, Game Freak couldn't get the trademark for "WaterBlue". It was already trademarked by Meiji Seika, a japanese pharmaceutical company. So for international versions, GF settled with putting Venusaur and LeafGreen on the cover instead. No Blastoise, unfortunately.
