My biggest gripe is how shit emulation is on it. Even with the n3ds most snes games still stutter. The saddest fact is that emulation for the 3ds for older games may never get better.
There's no point in developing accurate and optimized emulators for the 3ds architecture. Smartphones are more widely used, easier to code for (no fucking around with hacky assembly workarounds), and you can make money off emulator apps.

Honestly I would have never got a 3ds or played the current gens but when the arm9 loader stuff came around and modding became safer I went for it.
Plus, free shit is always nice.
