From a personal perspective, pokémon games are going stale. They need to jump to a better platform, more fps. It would be sick to have an open world RPG pokémon game on a better platform, just imagine if nintendo and bethesda teamed up or some shit? That hypothetical game would be the be all, and end all of pokémon games.
