Megas and Z-moves had the downside of needing the object to use them and thus you couldn't use other items.
The only issue with Z-moves is that they were mostly boring and gimmicky.
The only issue with Megas was that certain Pokemon that didn't need them, got them.
Dynamax is both of those issues at the same time while also pushing a fetish. There is no downside besides a turn limit, the unique moves are fucking shit and less interesting then Z-moves (Unique Gigantomax Z-moves are just added effects to normal Z-moves), you can use items to make things even more broken and there is no counterplay to it.
Dynamax is fucking shit, Megas should return. That is objective fact.
