>>49925734They are pretty much like that though, round reflective lenses, it just has more expressive typical anime eyes underneath it instead of proper compound eyes because gen 3 is about when they started designing pokemon for marketing first and foremost. I don't know why you're surprised it doesn't have 3 more little eyes on top of its head. Or are you nitpicking about the slight difference between how antlion compound eyes and a mantis's main compound eyes reflect light? Other than that and the slightly elongated shape they're basically the same otherwise. I'm just confused why you're here if you pretty much only like showdown which doesn't get that much discussion here anymore and you're insisting you don't care for the majority of the games at this point, the anime, the tcg or other merch, nor the community you're posting in. Yet you still bother to make a thread about you misinterpreting a low res sprite that wasn't so bad that the correct interpretation is hard to get from it and was far from being the easiest depiction to come across of flygon at the time let alone the only one, then being upset the design wasn't made to more closely resemble some unrelated arbitrary bug.
