Maison / free battle team:
Scizor @ Choice Band
Adamant 252 HP 252 Atk 4 Speed
Bullet Punch
U-turn
Thief
Brick Break
My usual lead. Thief is more for the Maison, where people don't switch, and is stronger than Night Slash with Technician. I hate using this guy, honestly, but can't deny his usefulness.
Mamoswine @ Assault Vest
Adamant 252 Atk 252 Speed 4 HP
Ice Shard
Icicle Spear
Earthquake
Rock Slide
The first fruit of my Masuda Method labor, and a damn fine one at that. Excellent for cleaning up Scizor's leftovers, and people seem to forget that she can have Ice Shard. Assault Vest lets her tank neutral hits and counter-OHKO frail sweepers who saw an easy kill (Gengar, Mega-Gardevoir, etc.)
Starmie @ Leftovers
Timid 252 SAtk 252 Speed 4 HP
Scald
Grass Knot / Thunderbolt
Psyshock
Recover
I love this guy, but he does seem to fall short sometimes. I never really considered Grass Knot before a Gastrodon almost dominated me, and most of what I switch him into doesn't fear Thunderbolt more than Scald or Psyshock.
It's also hilarious how everyone assume he has Ice Beam, dragons flee in terror and the switch-in gets thwacked by Psyshock (i.e. Blaziken, more than once)
My main concern is not having a reliable means of disposing of Scizor/Aegislash if I don't somehow catch him with Scald and burn him.
I'm considering switching Starmie for Slowbro with Surf / Flamethrower / Psyshock / Slack Off, and Scizor for... Lucario? He'd cover most of my weaknesses but I don't like using Lucario any more than Scizor.
Any input is welcomed and appreciated.
