it's not in "order," but I will always lead with Snover/Abomasnow in order to lay down hail. All my special attacking 'mons will know blizzard because and the Froslass will likely know hail to keep it going. I'd likely lean more toward special attacks at the start of the fight while I have hail, then shift into the physical attackers as the battle continues.
My in-game plotline would be that I am scouring a frozen lake, searching for (insert MacGuffin here) on my Lapras, which has learned to surf through ice. The player would have to navigate an ice/surf puzzle to find me, where the player would help me locate (MacGuffin) and be able to challenge my gym.
