I'd say you a horrible trainer for somehow not teaching your soul bonded partner that you both need to talk before you perform gestures like this. This is the equivalent of your wife or SO saying "I tore my heart out so we can afford a house that we already paid for." I'd be terrified for their safety first then question why they did that when we already had everything planned out.
