The massive variety in encounters from having the biggest Regional Dex in the series (even still!) and the ease of using Wonder Trade and online features always kept the game fresh and interesting from the start and made completing the Pokédex more viable than ever. Mega Evolutions should have become a new staple of the series. Shauna was a decent character and doesn't deserve to be lumped in with the two guys or your cardboard cutout main rival.
