Big Guy here... turns out my FireRed Mulligan was pretty true to it's name as I got Spheal as an option AGAIN. Encounters pre-Brock weren't terrific but much better than last time. Brock's Gym was Dragon themed so not too bad, his Bagon lowered my Defense and I got lucky the Shlegon's Headbutt didn't flinch.
Dustox, Oddish, and Spheal are the main members right now. Route 1 had Makuhita and Marill which have both been used previously, so I caught Makuhita and will likely just switch-sac him
