People dont talk about how toxic Nintendo/Gamefreak are for the gaming industry. They patent every fucking monster catching mechanic, and anything even remotely adjacent, which they shouldnt be allowed to do, and then they release slop that is worse than fucking newgrounds flash games.
They strongarm competition with frivilous lawfare and DMCA threats, and they piss on the fans of the genre that they have enslaved with their monopoly.
They're so anti-consumer it's not even funny.
