Maybe have it work like moody, sharply lower speed and attack on entry then boost them each turn 1 stage at a time. Might have to boost his defenses by a stage on entry and keep him rooted to prevent phasing. It'd be like a boss battle where they'd have to wear him down while Gigas gets progressively stronger each turn.
