I've been out of the loop for the past few weeks since the launch. Did fans really "fix" the performance issues of these games? If so that makes Game Freak look horrible as game developers since other people can figure out something they couldn't for one reason or another. That and people who bought the games shouldn't have to go out of their way to improve something that should have been the responsibility of the developers.
