Alpha to coverage would make the trees look less jagged (though it's not cheap for 7th gen-ish hardware, it's a good use of your rendering budget when your entire game is set in the great outdoors).
I think the normals might be fucked up for some of the trees trees. It's standard in most games to bend the normals (the direction a polygon faces when calculating lighting) when doing foliage so trees don't look so obviously like a bunch of flat billboards. And it was done for the trees in
>>47267691, but they didn't redo the lower LOD models after creating them and the trees in
