But as you can see I'm not an artist so I'm hoping someone out there would be willing to take my ideas and make it.... well nicer looking.

I included a lot of references with my poorly drawn concept. My bird has a red cap with two feathers sticking out that reminded me of the Zoro headband.. I included the duck and woodpecker I'm drawing inspiration from. And the Axe-Chicken from Quest for Camelot. The idea here is that this little bird has an incredibly sharp beak that works like a little sword or dagger - and as it evolves it becomes more sword-like. Even gaining the Steel type.
