>>37774186The concept itself of a Moon and a Sun based PKM is weird enough (going contrary to Legendary birds of the first two) but then you have the first apparition of "humanoid" PKM, like Blaziken and Gardevoir and many others. A radical departure from the previous two designs, throwing people off.
Mostly evolutions of third gen looks like putting the first design on steroids, going muscular, humanoid or just buffy. The cherry on top is that big chunk of it does not ressemble anything, and if they do, in pretty vague forms.
It really was a shittty gen.
Later they fixed things up.
