It's got enough spikes as is imo. 6 on the tail, 4 on the legs (one on each leg), 2 on the false head and (not sure if this counts) 2 on the head around the eyes. Looking at other Pokemon with spikes (pic related), it seems pretty fine (in relation to having spikes)
