I've never been much of a fan of just carpet buffing all stats like this, i think gamefreak does it best, even if they don't do them to every pokemon that deserves it: never change any stats, but if you have to, be as discrete as possible. Like when they gave nidoking +10 atk in gen 6, pretty underwhelming in the grand scheme of things, but as a pokemon it already is a realised idea, and changing stats way too much would have warped it's personality.
Here's my attempt at buffing my favorite shitmon, good old ambichad: What i was trying to do here was expand on it's role as a multi hit moves user, while keeping in mind that it's meant to punch something as it gets in and run away asap.
>Atk: 100 -> 110 so it's punches hurt just a little bit more> make tail slap 100% accurate and 30 power, it's now a 150 base power move without stab if you have skill link.>Give it more multi-hit moves, like bullet seed, double kick, dual chop, twinneedle, etc. Or just straight up create new ones, ambipon already has a pretty good movepool, but nothing he learns really packs a punch like it should, so more diverse multi-hit moves could help with it, for example:>Ground slap: 25 power; 100% acc; ground ; hits up to 5 times. User hits the ground multiple times with force, causing a mini earthquake.Just some basic coverage, a ground type move so it can dent rock and steel types.
