So I'm currently working on my type system, and I'm having difficulty working some things out.
So I definitely would like to add a Cosmic type; that has plenty of concepts to work with encompassed in it, so there's not too much to be confused about hammering it down into something gameable.
But an issue arises when you think of stars. Because stars are more distinct so as not to fit into a nebulous "Cosmic" type: namely, as a 'Plasma' type.
But the thing about the Plasma type is whether it can't be accurately represented as a dual-typing of Fire/Electric.
Do you suppose there's anyway to justify Plasma having its own typing?
And on that note, would it not also be sensical, if the Plasma type is made, to attach the concept of nuclear energy and radiation to it? Because that also falls in line with a Fire/Electric typing, plus Poison component, but is also hard to justify as a type on its own.
So TL;DR, when making a Cosmic type, should stars be included in that conceptual framework even though a case can be made for it being Plasma type? And in case a Plasma type is justifiable, would it also make sense to insert nuclear energy and radiation into that framework?
