I've seen people being unhappy with GF making multiverses canon basically, but for a franchise like Pokemon with its games + their sequels and remakes, the anime and the numerous manga spin-offs being ALL slightly to drastically different, it just works.
And it's not like multiverses weren't already a headcanon for lots of people anyway (and a reasonable one at that).

I wonder if I know of themThat does sound whiny and pretty unfair to the people who drew them stuff, indeed..also, I'd have some sympathy for them if RSE Archie/Maxie art where actually hard to come by, speaking as someone who's generally more interested in the admins than the bosses and therefore waded through lots of Marchie stuff before, in hopes of finding at least one badly drawn RSE Tabitha or something inbetween.
If anything, there's MORE art of RSE Archie/Maxie (and their admins, yay me) being made today, as the fans who where too young/sucked at art back then are all grown up by now, continuing to post art of them on the internet.
And as for people liking ORAS/SPE Archie/Maxie more, well tough luck. People like and draw what they like, complaining about it won't change shit.
