>>44250510>It could have done more with the flamingo's distinctly long legs or dietOh I see, you're just mad that it's not a cartoon flamingo, got it. There was never any hint of Spritzee being a flamingo. The dex doesn't talk about it's distinct diet or it's spectacular pink color, rather, it was used as a living perfume by Kalosian women. Aromatisse continues this perfume motif by utilizing it's scent for battling instead of being taken advantage of.
>It could have done more with the flamenco dancer motifIt's a French can can dancer, first and foremost, hence why it shows off its legs in canon. Flamenco dancer is some bullshit headcanon as usual.
>Aromatisse has too many conflicting elements to its designNo it doesn't. As said before, it's a can can dancer combining traits from masquerade costume parties, both elements share traits of overusing perfume and makeup which is what France (the country Kalos was based on) was known for.
>Instead we get an ugly Dr. Seuss rejectIt's an ambiguous fairy monster :^)
>appearance does nothing to suggest a focus on perfumeIts lower body is literally a powderpuff, it's why its back has a black bow attached to it. The overall silhouette is an hourglass figure which is a common shape to use for perfumes. The motif is subtle, and as said before, Aromatisse has evolved past the need to be used as a literal perfume spray, but instead used it's odors to defend itself.
>one of the worse offenders of "fairy type because it's pinkContext is important, considering that it's based on several makeup products and the vivid parts of French culture, I'd say the feminine palette is justified, and that the fairy typing was placed out later.
>Sometimes less is moreIt's not even overdesigned lmao, it's a pretty simple creature design overall.
