So this was an interesting experience. They're all different self inserts that I've fought along the way instead of the usual Johto E4. Only two of them had strategies that seemed coherent, the first being a Rain Team, and the third being some kind of Sunny Day team that never got to set up in the face of a Pinsir Sweep of all things. The second guy even had a level 62 Shiny Omanyte as their ace, so it wasn't too difficult compared to Morty's Ho-oh. Tragedy did strike on the fourth battle though as a crit Dynamicpunch from "E4 Honeybun's" Heracross did Pith in.
The Champ, predictably, was Shockslayer himself.
>Shiny Cloyster
Bicorne was still my lead and got hit by Toxic right away, prompting a switch to Qaraqul. Surf hurt, and TPunch didn't OHKO, but it wasn't enough. Cloyster was down soon enough
>Shiny Jolteon
Switched to Mitre even though in hindsight Dunce would have been better. Thunderbolt was not as threatening as it could have been and Extremespeed 2HKO'd
>Shiny Tyranitar
Kept Mitre in knowing the risks, because I didn't want to switch Dunce into anything super effective, Rock Slide missed, allowing Waterfall to 2HKO
>Shiny Blissey
Switched to Bicorne in hopes of potentially setting up, but when Seismic toss hit I knew I wouldn't have the chance. Submission unboosted took it down to a little under half, and Bicorne was hurting after Recoil and Seismic Toss #2. The Second Submission took down Blissey, but Bicorne had to sacrifice himself in the process to do it. F.
>Shiny Scizor
Switched to Unshanka for this, it tried to do some weird Substitute setup strat, but didn't get off the ground because Surf was too strong. Pretty easy.
>Shiny Skarmory
Level 72, the Champ's ace. I didn't really get to see what it was capable of becuase it went down in two Surfs.
After that a Level 70 Shiny Swinub ran in and fought us and was OHKO'd by Mitre. Then we got into the Hall of Fame. Big F for the fallen, but there's still Red to go after the rebuild.
