>>20759930No no, Mew being at the top of the transition tree is well established at this point. Mew's transformational skills are at least as good as the specialist Ditto's; if it's somehow an elaborate illusion, it's a really damn good one. And I suspect, though this is only a theory, that Mews are at least as good as Smeargle in acquiring and retaining new moves, and would be able to learn any known pokemon technique given enough time and practice.
If you've actually caught a Mew like your post implies, there's a huge demand for Mew subjects. You might want to look into some of those programs.
>>20759381I'll say this regarding mechanical pokeballs; studies have pretty conclusively shown there's no short term effect to pokemon health, mental or physical, with mechanical pokeball usage. Long term studies have proven rather more difficult (Wild breeding a large number of pokemon for ten or more years is cost prohibitive, age starts to become an issue at that scale, so forth), but thus far there doesn't seem to be any glaring issues showing up. The pop-story that shows up once every year or so (such as the recent article in The Golden Tribute) can be attributed to unreported miscare, age or otherwise normal fluctuations in a pokemon's health.
>>20759790> that respect and utilize pokemon they hasn't personally caught tendsThat should be "that respect and utilize pokemon they haven't personally caught tend to..". Apologies for my grammar and any confusion
