PLGE looks awful in quite a few places because it's so tied to the original games design, it doesn't translate well to 3D. It's style makes everyone look like a midget and it's just overall more awkward.
>>42674827The vast majority of battle arenas are very detailed and use 3D models even in the background. There's nothing even close to the stadiums in any other 3D pokemon. They're highly detailed and run well. It's impressive how big of a step up it is from PLGE which feels like Sun and Moon's remake edition with it's bad frame rates even just walking in viridian forest will tank your FPS on handheld mode). The only bad FPS in SWSH is when you're in the wild area and then it's very brief.
