>>35085154God, I miss XY&Z. This was Ash's peak in terms of battling skills. Yeah, Ash was a bland as a heroic character but I could forgive it b/c it was coming off that disaster of BW that was needed.
The art style of XY was great but the animation was average throughout the series and picked up in the Kalos League. I enjoyed how they handled the Kalos League. They cut out the random filler fights and went straight to the climax of the SF and Finals.
Why did they have to hype up the final battle with Ash & Alain? If they didn't have that click-bait title for the finale of the Kalos League I don't believe people would have threw a tantrum all over the internet. If it was just a normal title I believe people would have given SM a chance and not boycotted SM anime and make thousands of memes on the art style.
Maybe the Kalos League was a mistake. It doomed the Pokemon anime.
