>>31059676The normal shiny swapping method uses the eggs being generated in advance. However, in between these eggs that you normally take, there's more data for eggs being generated. You can access this data by rejecting eggs. Usually there's between 12-14 "hidden" eggs that can be accessed by constanly rejecting eggs, hatching and retrying.
Likewise, there's usually hidden shiny data generated around the one shiny egg that you hatch. This data comes in the form of "patches" of shiny data. So, by rejecting the shiny egg that you would normally get, you can get access to shinies with stats that you normally wouldn't get.
