>>23077161Yeah, I think so too. I felt that Red's entire relationship with his Pokemon could be summarized as chuck their Pokeball in his opponent's general direction/return it. Pokemon are partners speech he gave to Brock was pretty awkward. He seemed to have a stronger bond with Cubone than with his own Pokemon.
