Game has no battlepasses, is "mostly" single-player focused (you have multiplayer but the heart of the game is exploring solo and building you base), is very barebones and doesn't have much replay value, as well as a terrible grinding wall after two bosses.
I doubt the game will ever get millions of people playing it at the same time again, at the end of the day, it's just another survival crafting games, except instead of creatures or dinosaurs you tame like in The Last Frontier or ARK, the creatures are Pokemon-like.
Issue is, the world is empty and has lifeless characters. At least in Pokemon, there are NPCs with backstories and personalities. Palworld doesn't have it, the world is basically four big islands with different biomes, towers here and there, camps with bandits and four or five bosses.
