I know that since February it has been a very dividing time here on /vp/ and now we have something else to worry about.
I know you don't want an essay, so I'll just say that I hear you. Both sides. I can see the points and arguments for all of you, and the tough thing is, you're ALL right.
Sometimes life is hard, and things don't go your way, and that's OK. That's life.
The important thing is, all our Pokémon are still relevant, just some in different ways now.
I'm sure Pokémon Home is going to have features that make it worth having Pokémon there to "man the fort" and over the next few games it's going to grow and become practically a game itself.
I just want you guys to know, on both sides, there's still hope. We still have a brand new world to explore, with new Pokémon to find and catch, even if there are new rules to follow.
If you're worried about the competitive scene, just try to think of it as a new challenge!
In Sun I challenged myself to win online battles with only a monotype team, and I ended up with more wins than losses, and had a lot of fun!
