So I caught a Sudowoodo, but it took out my Jigglypuff. Somehow it hit a Rock Throw with -4 accuracy.
I caught a few more, even though like half of my encounters were still Rattata. In addition to Jacques, I got Patty the Krabby and Eclipse the Eevee.
While grinding for Morty, I found a Shiny. Fortunately, I just implemented the Shiny clause. Unfortunately, it's a Spinarak. If anyone knows how to use Ariados, please tell me.
Fighting Morty was annoying. He always was for me, especially as a (younger) kid (zoom zoom). Portobello was typically fast enough (with or without Quick Claw) to take out his Pokemon in one hit with Dig, but Gengar hit just about every Hypnosis. I could only healspam and wait. Upon waking up, I got my own revenge by hitting Gengar with Spore, killing it with two Digs.
