I don't know any trans people online or irl. I used to at times. But I fell out of contact with them. Yeah, a lot of trans have mental issues. I never really saw them as super evil. Maybe I'm missing something.
As far as giving drugs to the youth. This isn't like crack cocaine or some shit, it's hormones which their body undergoes anyways during puberty. It's not like it's Fentanyl or Heroin, it's something which is natural to the body for them to take at that age anyways.
This isn't about giving HRT to 5 year olds. When the teenager is old enough, they should be given the option to what gender they want to be. And the parents should be supportive.
Doing things "behind the parents backs" comes from conservative parents who don't like it when their daughter wants to be a son, or vice-versa.

The effort it would take to uproot trans is more than it would take to support them. Yelling at trans and trying to denigrate them, stopping them from getting their gender affirming care is NEVER going to work. Because that shit comes from within. If little Tony wants to be a Tina, she'll be Tina regardless of what her parents have to say about it, or anyone else for that matter.
