>>21312409I was so sure the XY Starters would have Megas, and I was apprehensive. It would be the first time a final starter evolution was designed with the knowledge there was more to come. I worried that they would seem "incomplete" and only be known for their Megas. GameFreak surprised me and didn't give them Megas right off the bat which is nice, we've gotten to know them and appreciate their strengths and flaws. I still feel like those Megas will be driving the hype train for Z right alongside Zygarde, though.
