Korok seeds are collectibles that are designed in such a way so that you can find them occasionally as you're looking for other things or just going through fields and mountains to build up towards a feature that helps convenience, you are not expected to collect them all which is why only 400 or so of the 900 are actually necessary for inventory upgrades
The Ruins are powerful Pokemon you are specifically going out of your way to find, and you do need to collect them all as part of the Pokedex. They are not a byproduct of natural exploration, they are things you are actively seeking.
I'm guessing though that you can only equate "DURRR THING HARD TO FIND = KOROK" because you are a brainlet and likely have never even played BOTW as most people on this board only play Pokemon, youve just heard parroted /v/ opinions. Get out nigger
