It's unapologetically short (3-4 hours max for the story even if you don't know what you're doing), the Slowpoke and Kubfu lines are literally the only new Pokémon,
the following Pokémon only work on the Isle of Armor and is buggy as fuck, the new Wild Area is even smaller than the first, the post-game is
just a type-based battle tower and the secret final boss requires you to grind Watts like an idiot.
I would wait until the Crown Tundra to see if at least that is worth it. You don't need to buy the DLC if you want to use the 200~ added Pokémon. But trust me, it's not good even on Sword/Shield standards. It's only been one day and discussion online is dying already, it's basically Ratchet & Clank PS4 all over again.
