Going by anime/manga logic, Garudamon easily beats Blaziken because it's not a fucking game anymore. Blaziken only stands a chance if Garudamon turns into a pokémon that Blaziken can beat but Garudamon could easily be made into something Blaziken can't handle. End of argument.
And before someone brings up Daimon Masaru again: Not just any human can punch out a digimon, it is something only special humans have achieved and Masaru himself clould not defeat any adults by himself, only stun them.
