Digimon attacks are weak and nothing special, I've seen the show (Tamers). In the Pokemon World/Universe there is actual strategic combat at play when it comes to Pokemon Battles, whereas Digimon "fights" have zero fucking strategy involved and Digimon Tamer is only limited to one Digimon Partner (and is also usesless is unable to give commands to the Digimon so it essentially fights byi tself) whereas there technically is no limit to how many Pokemon a trainer can own (the 6 limit is just a rule for the "sport"). So what happens is that any competent trainer with even just a party of 6, or even less Pokemon can take out your beetlemon because said beetlemon would be completely overwhelmed by the sheer amount of special ABILITIES and ATTACKS which Digimon don't fucking have or can compare with. For example..

Pokemon will move first no matter what. Fuck your Digimon's speed. In the Pokemon universe we have PRIORITY MOVES bitch.
