>>28366327I know how you feel. The first time I felt like this was between BW and BW2. XY however got my hype for pokémon up and I loved it, but my motivation was only revived to soon be shattered by ORAS and all the disappointment regarding it. SMD however got it up again (and I recently finished GTI that I only got to play thanks to hacking my 3DS) and I have decent expectations of S/M, but even then, I'm barely attached to the main games anymore, they don't give me the feel the PMDs give.
Still gonna day -7 pirate S/M though. -7 because I'm almost sure it's gonna leak about a week earlier :^)However, "quitting" is kind of a exaggerated word because playing pokémon is not your job or something. You just give it a break, or move on, idk, but it's not like you're banishing the series. I know this is a minor detail but I don't like this "quitting" meme on games unless you actually play competitively (and I mean actual competitive). Take it easy, anon.
