Sanctimonious as he is, Cirno's right. Pokemon are still presented as lesser than humans and akin to animals 99% of the time and that one percent outlier doesn't change that. Crows, elephants, dolphins and orangutans are considered the smartest creatures outside of man and it's still bestiality to lust after that. They and all mons are inherently on a lesser level of sapience and to take advantage of that because you need ego stroking is evil.
