Since we're less than two days from the release of X/Y, and since a lot of people already have the game, I thought it would be beneficial to start a general for the game much like we did with BW2 when it was released.
The purpose of this thread and all future ones is to attend to basic questions regarding anything about X/Y that don't warrant new threads while also talking about the game itself and how to progress through it once it launches Friday at midnight. This is so to keep the board from drowning in hundreds of X/Y threads that get ignored due to the inevitable hype of larger ones.
