>>44782797>>44782740It has been an personal belief of mine for years that Kenny's presence in DP was one of the biggest mistakes the series had ever made; I reiterate that he brought nothing of substance to the show itself proper.
The difference between how Barry and Conway (especially him) and Kenny were handled is like night and day; the former two had plenty of fun moments to give, not to mention that Conway gave Ash a run for his money during the League; meanwhile Kenny...was just there doing nothing other than teasing Dawn (as far as I can remember); heck, he (alongside with Nando who at least got to face both Ash and Zoey) didn't even get to compete against Dawn, which just shows how irrelevant he was at the end, beyond 'coughs' that one-sided crush that never really went anywhere.
As for Nando, I liked the concept of Ash and Dawn sharing a rivalry with him...but it didn't really show that much promise given that Nando practically disappeared for most of the series until the end; I get that he was snagging contest ribbons and gym badges offscreen, but beyond one cameo in that period, you would think they would have made him appear again.
