I love the animation that plays when you mega evolve, especially in Gen 6. Feels a bit toned down in Gen 7, but still good. Design-wise, some of them hit the mark for me, some of them don't. M-Swampert and M-Metagross do not quite appeal to me, but I like M-Tyranitar and M-Mence. To each their own.
But, I think the idea of being able to power up ANY Pokemon in the universe with Dynamax is a lot better than mega. Because megas are restricted to only a select number of mons. I can't wait to fucking Dynamax a Klinklang or why not a Ferrothorn. Shit's gonna be rad.
