I hate Salazzle with a passion because she's a wasted concept. When I think of an all-female lizard I think of the new mexican whiptail lizard which evolved from a mix between two other species of lizard. They make eggs through parthenogenesis yet still need to make the "motions" to produce an egg.
They could have easily made Salazzle an ode to a very interesting species but instead made it another dominatrix Pokemon. It would have been really cool to make it so that Salazzle could produce an egg regardless of the sex of the other Pokemon in the daycare. (risque but it's a real life thing so it's not really promoting anything ""unnatural"")
